Doll Outfits!

One day Bethany got the idea to make a dress for her American Girl Doll and asked if I would help. So we decided that we would do our signature color and design: lime green, light blue, and zebra. At first I thought that we would have a really hard time and that it was crazy that we were trying, shockingly I even thought that it would look horrible. I'm thrilled to say that in the end I was proved wrong on so many levels! It turned out amazing!! The dress wasn't that hard but takes time and you have to have patience.


Bethany made the bow and the shoes. The shoes have cardboard in the bottom so they are stable. Doesn't the bow look AMAZING!!!! We got orders for bows from a mom now!! :)

Bethany and I were in QuikTrip and we both had purses that Bethany had made and weaved wallets that I had made and a lady behind us said "I love that! How did you make it?" We told her and she was amazed! Before we left she said "One day you'll be on Oprah with your millions of dollars by duct tape!!" We were so happy!

Xtreme Basketball Updates!!

We're back with more Xtreme Basketball updates! We played in Ark City this weekend and had a GREAT time!! On Friday night we blew a team out!! 70-2!!!!! YAY!!! We are awesome!! haha! We then played again on Saturday and won all three games that day!

Between games we decided to go to the park to waste time and run off lunch. There was this big train at the park and we got on and started waving at cars. I had rode with Kelcey so my parents had to find their way on their own! When we were waving at the cars my parents drove by. I had told them that the park we were going to was on main street and had a BIG BLACK TRAIN in front. We waved at them but they didn't see us. I thought that maybe they were just going back to the gym since it was so hot. Later when we got back I told them that we got 62 honks! (we were standing on the side of the road yelling at people to honk...... haha!) My mom said the park is in Winfield. I told her no and that we were standing on the train and waving/yelling at them as they drove by. Her response was "We couldn't find it." How could they miss a park that had a BIG BLACK TRAIN that was real by that I mean LIFE SIZE!!!!!!!!! I laughed a lot! 

On Sunday we played the Pioneers and beat them! We were on to the championship now to play the Kansas Storm. We had played them once before and won. It was going to be a challenge now. We were tied 12-12 at half time. In the end we won 32-28. Champions once again!!! Great job to all the girls on the Xtreme team! Until next time!

Flower and Necklace

This week I've been working on some things for people and got them done. The first on is a chain necklace and a regular necklace. They are both made out of  pink, blue and purple Tye-dye, and red Tye-dye.

  I did what the customer wanted but I prefer not to mix designs. Here is my advice don't order something with two designs because it DOESN'T look good!! Yes, two colors together looks good, only if they go together. I'll let you know prices on these things once we discuss the new prices.

The flower is for the ladies at Scrap Funattic. I was talking with one of them and they wanted to see my weaved wallets and I thought I would make them this flower as a gift. The stem is brown and the pedals are pink and zebra. I really like it!!

Xtreme Basketball Updates!!

Hey again!! We wanted to update you on how our basketball team did this weekend!

 If you didn't know we were playing in the summer kickoff. There were 44 teams (from all over the United States!!) in the 6th grade girls division! CRAZY!! Well we placed the top in our pool of four teams and then went on to bracket play. We played on Friday night and Saturday morning in pool play then, Saturday afternoon we started bracket play. On Saturday night it was double elimination and then Sunday it was single elimination. We won 5 games in a row. We played a Colorado team on Saturday night at 8:00 and their coach used to play in the NBA!! How cool!! Anyway we beat them and then had to come back and play at 8:00 in the MORNING!!! We ended up losing that game.

So our team went 5-1 for that tournament.... not bad!! Last year we went 1-4 so we are really proud!!

In all it was a great weekend! Except when I (Kaitlyn) got elbowed in the mouth and got a big cut!! O well it was fun playing! We'll give you more updates on the Xtreme team soon so stay tuned!!!

Weaved Wallets!

We came up with a new item!! It's a weaved wallet. The first one is made with red and zebra. It took about 30 minutes. The weaved wallets cost $5 a piece.


This is a wallet that I made for Bethany. It is made with white and blue plaid. it took about 30 minutes also. I think both wallets turned out VERY nice!

There are two credit card slots in both on the left and a change slot on the right. I can change it around; for example there can be 4 credit card slots or an ID slot.

On another topic, we have a basketball tournament this weekend! It's the summer kickoff. I hope we do good! We played 2 games today and won both. Wish us luck as we play tomorrow and hopefully Sunday!
